In just a few years, Thai food has become the most popular exotic cuisine in the world. Our food is designed to offer a combination of flavors: sweet, sour, hot, salty and bitter. These unique flavors depend on special ingredients native to Southeast Asia: cilantro, (Pak Chee) leaf and root; lemon grass (Trakai); galangal root (Kar); kaffir lime leaves (Bai Ma-Grood); ginger (King); and hot Chili (Prik Kee Nu).
Thai Orchid Restaurant prides itself in preparing all meals of the finest ingredients. We do not use MSG (monosodium glutamate) in our food. Fresh lime and other juices are used to bring out the flavor. Only low-cholesterol oil is used when required in the preparation of a dish.
Thai Orchid Restaurant is dedicated to the presentation of authentic Thai cooking. Our one compromise is the amount of spices used in the dishes. Since everyone has different limits, we offer this guide; mild *, medium **, hot *** (Thai Native).
For our vegetarian friends, all dishes with the number underlined can be prepared as vegetarian. Sauces only of a vegetable nature are used to prepare your food.
